The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership is seeking a contractor with previous teaching experience to deliver locally themed environmental education sessions at local primary schools in 2016 and 2017. The sessions will be inspired by the wildlife and habitats local to each school and will enable children to learn about local wildlife and nature conservation within their school grounds or at nearby locations. The contractor will work with 10 schools each year and engage with a total of 600 pupils.
The budget available for this work is in the region of £7500 to include travel (plus a materials and external expert budget of approx. £1500). The successful contractor will be expected to begin planning year 1 activities the week commencing 22nd February 2016.
The deadline for submission of quotations is midday on Monday 1st February 2016.
